NOTD

Man oh man guys, I am incredibly tired. I started my new job today at Mammoth Printshop today. Who knew that sewing tags on shirts all day could make you this tired? Or could it possibly be because I barely slept last night? I was so nervous - I just tossed and turned all night. (I'm such a weenie)
Anywho!
I have so many fun products that I am going to review this week! You guys are going to absolutely love them! But tonight (since I'm in my zombie form) I'm just going to post a good old fashion NOTD.

I'm not a huge fan of green nail lacquers, but I do enjoy this one. :) I can't wait to bust it out this Fall. (Come on Pumpkin Spice Lattes and cooler temperatures!) Fall is my favorite time of year and Halloween is probably my favorite holiday. The older I get...the more I adore it. Who doesn't love an excuse to dress up and have adult beverages? (Back to the polish!)...it's a lovely hunter green without too much glitter. I think a ton of glitter in a green or teal lacquer somehow cheapens it. This one has just the right amount and it's only really noticeable in bright light. I used two coats in the photo above. How was your Monday?

Nails of the Day

(Butter London) "Tramp Stamp"

(Sigh) I love Butter London nail polish. They just seem so luxurious to me, especially the shade "Tramp Stamp." (What a glorious name lol) It's a loverly rich milk chocolate brown nail lacquer that I just adore. I think it will look great with whatever I where over the next few days. It kinda reminds me of a Hershey bar - and that makes me really want some chocolate. NOM NOM
----------> See all of their Nail Lacquers here) <----------
Butter London was founded in 2005, and all of their products are carcinogen-free. :) Isn't that fabulous?
Any Portlandia fans out there? ;)

Nails of the Day

Happy 4th of July y'all! :) It was pretty gloomy in Auburn today, we ended up carrying Miri to the pediatrician. (Only to find out nothing is wrong.) We really thought she had an ear infection. Then we ate some mexican food, so patriotic right lol? Mmmm...cheese dip.
Cute right? I really thought this polish was going to look like a hot mess, but I ended up pleasantly surprised. Plus, now my nails make me feel like Nicki Minaj! (Lets take a moment and sing along to Super Bass)
I only $1.99...oh snap!  (Due to the coupon from my Teen Vogue magazine) I had a hard time deciding between the polka dots and the holographic. (Matt was no help) I figured that they would probably sell out of the polka dots quicker than the holographic. I plan on going back and picking up a few more at a later date. The photos above show my nails after three coats were applied. Again, I used my Seche Vite top coat. Now everybody can have a good idea of what it looks like when they spot it in stores. :) It is deceivingly unattractive in the bottle.

I hope everybody had a fun (not so rainy) holiday!
PS - I'm doing another giveaway soon! :D

Nails of the Day

Why is it that whenever I post anything that involves "of the day" I always get this song stuck in my head? lol Oh well, it's a good song. :)
Seche Vite - $9.95 at Ulta (Best top coat available)
Fun fact? ZOYA is a vegan friendly nail-polish company! (Heck-yeah) I can't believe I found my "Skylar" at my local Ulta...their selection is usually pitiful.
I thought I would also include a photo of this fantastic thrifty bling I found yesterday at Plato's Closet. (Auburn location) It's a sterling silver ring y'all! I ended up "really" paying 98 cents for it after my trade-in. I think the band is really unique and I'm kinda in lurve with it. :)

I hope everybody is having a nice Sunday! What are you up to today? I'm about to go tackle some laundry.

Review | Hard Candy Nail Polish #651 black tie optional

I was browsing through the makeup section at Wal-mart earlier today and I found this little gem. It's a polish from Hard Candy's "Crystal Confetti" line. It was a total steal at only $4.00! I've noticed the speckled egg trend on Pinterest lately and I adore it. I've only been able to find this style polish on etsy, so I was pretty excited when I spotted it in a local store. I think it looks really lovely layered over my Sally Hansen Xtreme wear nail color in #340 Mint Sorbet. I think the next time I make a Wally-world run I'm going to pick up another one of their polishes from their "Candy Sprinkles" line. How is it that their polishes have gone un-noticed until now? I am absolutely loving them! :)

Dynamic Duo :)

I hope everybody had a nice weekend. We had a blast at 280 Boogie in Waverly, Alabama.
