What did you think of this months picks? I went ahead and purchased the industrial charm. When it arrives in the mail I will make sure to post a photo of it on my industrial bar. I'm pretty excited - I've been looking for a dangly feather earring for forever. I hope everybody has a fantastic hump day. (Camel be damned)

November's Lust-worthy Items
It's seriously November? What the heck man...now I'm just getting angry. This year is flying by! Lots of exciting things are coming up soon! Brad's wedding, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Miri's 1st birthday in January! (Did somebody say My Little Pony invites?)
The following items can all be found on Etsy - I have an addiction remember? ;)
How is your week going so far? I'm pumped up for Friday - I am going with the hubby and my sister to see the "Secret Sisters" show in Waverly. Excite! Photos?

New Blogging Space!
This little area may currently be my favorite little nook in the entire house. How adorable is it? :) I thought it would be fun to give a little e-tour of my new blogging space.
1. This gold vintage chair belonged to my great-grandmother, "NaNa." She passed away many years ago - but we just got our hands on this a couple of weeks ago. It was in a storage shed thats contents were going to be thrown away. Good thing we saved it!
2. LOL This is my "Patron Saint of Smiling" art. It is one of my favorite pieces in the house. Matt and I found it on a trip to Orlando. (Pure gold!) I have mad love for Will Ferrell...many of my friends don't...so they don't find it as amusing as I do. ;) If it doesn't make you laugh, it's your loss.
3. This is a painting that my grandfather affectionately calls "Mammie." The artist was a family friend that sadly passed away a couple of years ago. We have another painting that goes with it that is displayed on the opposite wall in the dining room. I don't think the other one has a name? It's an old man sitting on a basket with the same cotton field in the back. I can remember these hanging in my grandparent's house during my childhood...so they are both very special. :)
4. How cute is this desk? We bought it from our friend Erin just last week. It didn't look anything like this though! (See before and after photo) It was her dad's desk that he owned during the 60s. I think it turned out quite nicely! All it needed was a couple coats of paint, polycrylic, and new hardware. Brand new!
5. Awww - it's Silas' hands and footprints. He was 20 months old when he made this for me. I think it was a mother's day present? I adore it.
6. Lastly, my Daher tins. Matt loves to give me lots of grief over them. He is constantly making fun of the name. Whatever! If you want me to love you forever...give me a Daher tin. You can find them scattered about antique and thrift stores. Make sure it has this stamp though! (Below) There are many fakes roaming around out there! One of my best friends (Ruthie) got me into collecting them. She has like...a million. They were used as decorations for her wedding reception. It was beautiful.

How was your day? :) Tomorrow is hump day! Does anybody else hate that damn camel as much as I do? I hear his voice in my head every Wednesday when I crawl out of bed. Ugh.

Review | Kidecals - Keycals "Pretty Roses"
These little beauties are created for Mac (Apple) keyboards only - so I apologize if you have to miss out on these. (Super sad face just for you) The designs are printed on high quality removable vinyl. They are really gentle on your keys - easy to apply and easy to remove! (No messy glue leftover)
I absolutely adore this vintage design - it blends nicely with my "high quality" blue hard shell cover lol. There were so many keycals to choose from - check out all of the designs right here. I had a bit of a hard time picking out my favorite. The whole process of the beautification of my laptop only took about 15 minutes. I was kinda concerned that the little stickers would be hard to apply at first, but it was really a breeze. :) Once you get the hang of it - it takes no time at all! I have been tapping away on my Mac for over a week now and I have had no issues with the decals at all. (No peeling or fading) My only complaint is that the letters on the keys are a little faint...so every now and then I may or may not hit an incorrect key lol. ;)
Kidecals doesn't just sell Keycals - they also offer personalized water-proof, kid's name labels and decals. They pretty much stick to anything folks! If you have offspring...do yourself a favor and go check out their entire line of products. :) I will definitely be ordering some stuff for Silas-man when he starts school.

It's a thrift haul y'all | Goodwill ~ Opelika, AL
'Twas a bountiful visit to my local Goodwill. I've been car-less all week so Matt watched the Miri mouse so I could get out for awhile. (I may or may not have been going cray) I ended up finding a brand new umbrella stroller for $15.91 while I was there - it's one of the fancy ones that her car seat will clip into. (Score!) I believe we will take it to the Montgomery Zoo with us on our next trip. :) I will take lots of photos!
Gap Shirt $1.99 - I couldn't pass this one up. The polka dots are more subtle in person, the flash really brought them out in this photo. It was in the t-shirt section and I paid full price. It probably should have been in the $2.99 section.
Vintage skirt $1.99 - This skirt makes me smile. I adore the bright colors, and it reminds me of Summer. It had a green tag, so it was 50% off. Regular price - $3.99 Check out that cute little pocket!
Daytrip Vest $1.49 - This was such an unusual piece! It's a vest-thing - but it has a weird sheer polyester cape? Don't ask questions...I paid full price. :)
Forever 21 Top $2.99 - I think this top will be really flattering, it gathers at the waist. This is the most expensive piece that I bought during this visit. (Not including the stroller)
My grand total (including the new stroller) after tax:
$26.56
Success!

DIY | Mason Jar Brush Holders
Check - it - out! Matt earned 5 gold stars today. :) I recently got a huge set of makeup brushes from Coastal Scents and I've been looking for a way to store/display them. I was browsing Pinterest last night and I found this fabulous mason jar organizer idea! We found our blue vintage style mason jars at Target for around $10. Click the link below for step-by-step instructions! Happy crafting!

OOTD | Vintage On A Budget
Since recently losing (almost all) of my baby weight, I've gotten obsessed with vintage clothes again. I'm thinking I may start only buying vintage actually. I just love everything about it, especially the price! The photo below is my outfit of the day for Tuesday.
Now - I know that this outfit isn't everybody's cup of tea, and I completely understand if you are uninterested in this post. Bottom line is that I like it and that is all that matters. The cool thing is that nobody in Target will be spotted wearing the same thing while I'm out shopping. ;) So how much does this total outfit cost? If you include my necklace...
Necklace - $4.20 (After the 30% off coupon) from Kohls
Blouse - $1.99 from Mission Thrift Store in Auburn, Alabama (it's very figure flattering)
Black skinny jeans - $3.00 Plato's Closet in Auburn, Alabama
= $9.19 people!
I took my hubby Matt on my thrift store visit this past Saturday. He hates thrifting but humors me when I express an interest in going. (Thanks love!) I had about 5 tops in my hand and we narrowed it down to 2. He didn't care much for either of the blouses I picked out but he knows how things go. He always hates what I buy and then I put it on and he says "wow, that's adorable...how do you do it?" So, I win! ;) If you are ever in the area, Mission Thrift Store has great prices. Most of the tops I was browsing through were only $1.99 each. Plato's Closet is also a great place to find deals. It's weird because so many people I know have never been. It's pretty much the nicest thrift store you could ever go to. So go check it out - they have locations all over the place. You will end up spending a good bit more at Plato's though.
I hope your having a nice Wednesday! :)

Etsy | Haul
For those of you who don't already know this, Etsy is my weakness. I adore it. Nothing makes me happier than grabbing a mug of hot chocolate and sitting on the sofa and browsing through endless pages of vintage items. This is a small-ish haul. I've been trying to save money lately. :P
Total price - $17
This hat was one of the first ones I found. It pretty much has everything I was looking for in a hat. But - I totally clicked through 200 pages before I decided to hit the "Buy" button. Please go check out Rudy & Riley. She has some really cute vintage items. I'm particularly fond of this vintage photograph of a pretty lady she has listed.
Total price - $15
Is this not adorable? It's only the cutest hipster vest I've ever seen. I can't wait till it comes in the mail. I got a "shipped" notification earlier today. ;) It is perfectly for layering with solid t-shirts. Hey...I bet my sandals I posted about yesterday will go great with this! Winning. Please go check out Frais Vintage.
