Review | PureLip's Lip Buff

Guys - I'm so in love with the intensive lip repair product that I'm going to feature today. It's made by Pond Parker (cutest name ever btw) over at PureLips. You may remember me briefly mentioning this lip cream in my monthly favorites post. I'm doing it again...because I can...it's just good stuff y'all!
This weather has been miserable lately. It really can't decide if it wants to be warm or cold here in Alabama. (Go home weather - you're drunk) Because of said weather - my lips have been a hot mess (much like my acne) BUT that is for a another day lol. Pond Parker's Lip Buff is all natural/handmade and available in a whopping 17 flavors and two different sizes! I currently own 2 - lemon butter cake (my favorite) and soy chai latte. It literally melts into your lips! I have seen 100%  improvement in the condition of my lips since I began using this product. (No more peeling!) I really think it is because it's formulated without wax. Prior to this I had never used anything on my lips that wasn't wax based. Obviously, products with wax in them just sit on your lips - nothing gets absorbed...even $6+ chapstick from Target was drying my lips out. Riddikulus! What a waste of money! I've traded my peeling lips for a lip butter addiction lol - whatever...I will take it.

I'm going to keep this review short and sweet. For a list of the ingredients you can click the link above. I purchased one of these for my makeup box, and one for my handbag, and I plan on purchasing a additional Lip Buff to put on my bedside table. That's how great I think this stuff is. MUST HAVE ONE EVERYWHERE I GO. ;)

I have a coupon for you if you would like to try some Lip Buff. Enter MARCHMADNESS20 at checkout and you will receive 20% off on your order. Be sure to leave PureLips some amazing feedback!

March's Lust-worthy Etsy Finds

I tend to mostly stick to Etsy when shopping online these days. I like supporting artists - it gives me the warm fuzzies don't yah know. :) I noticed a trend with my previous "lust-worthy" features...most of the items were...from Etsy lol. So - I'm changing things up a bit. All of the items that I post each month from now on will strictly be from Etsy. (Capiche?) So now you can do your shopping all on one site. ;) I'm such the enabler. Here's what I have been drooling over lately...

What did you think of this months picks? I went ahead and purchased the industrial charm. When it arrives in the mail I will make sure to post a photo of it on my industrial bar. I'm pretty excited - I've been looking for a dangly feather earring for forever. I hope everybody has a fantastic hump day. (Camel be damned)

Gardein Review & Giveaway!

Watch-out-now! It's a fat-mcfatty-food-post! I've been a vegetarian since early 2007. It is seriously one of the best decisions I've ever made. (Now - if only I could convince my husband to join me lol.) Today I'm going to talk about Gardein. They are the maker of deliciously meatless foods, and you have to give them a try! (Even Matt likes their food!)
Mmm...what a tasty Kroger haul. I'm a little sad though, because I couldn't find the classic style buffalo wings or the crispy chick'n sliders. (Bummer) Their food is just phenomenal, it's really better than most meat substitutes I have tried. (I have tried a lot.) I would have to say that the little burger sliders are probably my favorite so far.
(Does this remind you of crabby patties from Spongebob too lol?)
These little things are only 150 calories! That makes me pretty darn happy, considering I'm currently on a diet. They also make great healthy snacks for your little ones. Some people might try to whine about the price - but you have to consider that each package contains multiple servings. The only thing that disappoints me about Gardein is the limited selection in my area. There are so many drool-worthy options on their website...and like 4 different kinds at the grocery stores. (Boo-hiss-boo) I will just go ahead and blame all that business on Kroger and Publix. I should probably just be thankful that I can find them at all. (Where to buy?) I also have to recommend their chipotle lime crispy fingers. (Not pictured) I cooked some of those in the camper on our recent beach trip, and my entire family thought they smelled amazing.

--------------------
Now onto the really exciting part! You can give Gardein a try for FREE.

It's a giveaway y'all! All you have to do is follow the steps below to enter. The lucky winner will receive this snazzy neoprene lunch bag with 3 free product coupons! Fancy!

Review | Natural Deodorants

I know that there is a lot of conflicting information out there about aluminum being linked to Alzheimer's. I have a family history of the disease, so I rather be on the safe side. Do you know what really sucks? It's in almost every deodorant that you pick up. (Not to mention other nasty chemicals) Over the years I have tried several brands from various health food stores, and most have left me disappointed. Today I want to talk about two products that I have tested recently.
and
I picked up the "Naturally Fresh" brand first, it was conveniently located at Wal-mart. I will go ahead and say that I cannot recommend it. I found that I had to re-apply it several times throughout the day. It may just be me, but I felt like it made me sweat more? (Gross) That could just be due to the liquid nature of the product. If you want to save money, you can try this one...maybe you will have better luck?

On to my favorite. :) Years ago I found my first natural deodorant on Etsy, it was called "Stinky Hippie." (How very appropriate lol) To my dismay, the seller stopped making it. I was really upset because it worked wonders for my husband. (Sigh) So, I went searching for another brand...and I found PuurBody! If vegan soap, natural deodorant, and shea butter lip balm is what your looking for...look no further! To my knowledge, she has the best prices on Etsy. I paid $7.00 for my deodorant (The Mayor of Stinky Town) lol...and $2.15 for shipping. This tube has a very tea tree oil scent to it. I noticed that the smell gets pretty strong a couple of minutes after you apply it but then it fades a bit. I'm really impressed with it. I think next time I may purchase the "Nag Champa" scent. If you want to get rid of some excess chemicals in your life go visit PuurBody. Here are the ingredients listed on the back of the stick. (I love how fabulously short the list is.)
Ingredients: Caster oil, Candellila wax, Soy wax, Shea butter, hemp seed butter, kaolin clay, Arrowroot   powder, fragrance and/or essential oils.

Also - look at my adorable niece (and Silas)! My brother and his fiance purchased an Old English Bulldog puppy this past weekend. Her name is Cricket and I already adore her.

Review | LUSH Dragon's Egg Bath Bomb

LADIES & GENTLEMEN...I got to go to a LUSH store. Oh snap, right?! I was in Raleigh - North Carolina visiting my cousin and his lovely girlfriend when I just happened upon the only LUSH store in the state. :) I should be embarrassed at how excited I got, but I'm not...no shame people...no shame. I decided to walk up to the first associate I saw and ask for the fanciest bath bomb they sold. (There were so many I couldn't begin to choose.) This is what the nice lady sold me, a "Dragon's Egg" scented bath bomb.

For those of you who don't know, Alabama has zero LUSH locations. Sad times...I know. So I proceeded to go crazy when I found one. I never get to enjoy their products because I refuse to pay shipping. (Ugh, shipping.) The nice associate at the store did hint that they should be opening a store in my area soon though, so heck yeah to that.

Oh, look at this...I decided to make some fancy collages at the bath bomb in action.
I know you are impressed. ;)
This particular bath bomb is described in the LUSH TIMES as "a citrus bath bomb with a pop of fire." The example photo of the fizzy-goodness appears to be more teal in color. I wish mine had been more on the green side. When the lady was describing it to me she said "it creates a bit of foam on the top, turns green and yellow, and has glitter in the center." Glitter? Yes please. My bomb foamed, turned orange-ish, and had glitter in the center. This bath bomb was a happy time for me after an all around rough day. I highly recommend it. :)

I hope everybody has a nice week.
I leave you with one of the photos from our trip. Chairs in the trees? Why all this seriousness?
